Glad to find a site where I can talk with others in the profession I have chosen. A little about myself... I went to community college for a year and decided it wasn't my thing, I am a hands on kind of learner. I have always enjoyed cooking and am pretty good at it so I decided to go to culinary school. I start next Monday (8/23) at the Texas Culinary Academy (Le Cordon Bleu program) in Austin, TX. I am shooting for validvictorian and am hoping to enter into the bridge program (in London) upon completion. I will also obtain an associated degree upon completion and am considering going to school while working for a bachelors.
