    Hello chefs

I'm a young student from denmark and i bought a new knife.
Today i didnt think and i cut beetroot with my knife. The handle is white wood and i got must of it off, but there is still some red/pink color on there.

Can i sandpaper it away ?

You got any pictures? Its hard to give any advice without seeing what the problem is.
