    Hello,

    I joined lately, hope to learn new things. I cook at home for family and friends. My cooking style is based on some basic 'rules' I guess, but I like the free style of experiments, tasting and changing.

    Excited to find new ideas here.

    My story of 'how it all started' is a bit unusual I guess. I always liked good food but always thought it's too difficult and time spending, couldn't imagine it can be such fun. 

    While traveling in Australia I went for long trekking, camping outdoors with 3 great travelers. A Swedish guy who's mother taught cooking at school, French girl whom her father owned 3 patiseries and a Scottish fellow who traveled the world by himself, mostly cooking for himself. Those three were amazing teachers. When we got to the first supermarket I went for the '20 seconds noddles' (I bet there is no mention of it during the 10 years of this forum...) and they laughed and ask me to hold the trolley while bringing Ginger, Garlic, Celery, Flour and the rest of the real food before teaching me every night something new. That was 15 years ago, enough stories.../img/vbsmilies/smilies/redface.gif
