I'm baking a cake and cupcakes for a baby shower and I have the mom's favorite flavors. I've decided to do a white chocolate cupcake w/ ghirardelli white chocolate frosting. The filling is the difficult part. I want to do a fruit in order to cut the sweetness, but her favorite fruits are canteloupes, red apples (fiji, pink ladies, gala, etc, but not green apple) and grapes. What fruit and what style does everyone recommend? I was thinking cinnamon apples, but does that fit? Any opinion is definately appreciated.
