how many of u guys have competed and how do u guys demystify the mystery basket
Best advice is to get to know as many ingredients as you can.
If you open a mystery box and find a mirliton you would automatically know it by its' other name (Chayote), what it is and how to prepare it.
Some of the more exotic ingredients can escape even the most experienced cook, but at the very least one should know weather it is animal. vegetables or mineral.
