Well you certainly inspired our morning here!  I decided to make french toast, which I think I've only made once before a long long time ago.  Thakfully I had some stale bread I didn't know what to do with so it worked out.

Cinammon French toast made with eggs, half n half, vanilla extract and cinammon and sugar.  Fried in butter and finished in the oven.  Alongside a baked egg with left over mashed potatoes, asparagus, and sprinkled with cheddar underneath.

You can cook me leftovers anytime if it turns out like that. Great looking breakfast or brunch.

That's what I would do if I ever won a challenge.  I doubt I'll ever win but whoever does should definitely host an egg challenge one of these days.  So many possibilities.

Ahh how I love brunch! I grew up on a small, family owned poultry farm, so I take any chance I get to try something new with eggs. Great pictures, everyone. Here are a few brunch dishes I've made for my girlfriend and I recently.

Sous-vide egg yolk, baby bok choy, pomegranate seeds, shaved Provolone

And a Mediterranean style brunch: Poached eggs, cannellini beans, parsley pistachio pesto.

And finally, what I like to call a 'separated' egg. The whites were beaten and baked in a ramekin, and the yolks were whisked over a double boiler with salt and a few drops of vinegar until thickened. Served with crispy pancetta and sunflower sprouts.

It looks amazing not just the plating but the entire idea. XD

Love me some grits.  I made corned beef hash with sunny side up eggs and ciabatta toast.
