Micro greens

    Hi chefs
    Yesterday i bought some micro greens and i want to ask if they will regrow after harvest them? and if yes how i can regrow them ?

    Most green will regrow if you cut them and leave enough stem. I do it for my garden leaf lettuce. Never pull it, cut with a scissors and it fills back in.

    Thank you so much i will follow your advice but how long should i cut ? Half and leave half ?

    I used to cut my microgreens about an inch above the soil line. Some , like wheat grass, re-grew well a second or third time. All I did was make sure the soil was moist -not wet. Now we're always changing kinds of microgreens so we just compost them and the soil after harvest. We cut them just above the soil line with a chef's knife rather than scissors -as described here: https://www.homefortheharvest.com/how-to-grow-microgreens/
