Marinading

    Hi i just had a question regarding marinading meats if i was to marinate chicken or tri tip and then freeze the meat while in the marinade for 2 weeks is that fine?

    Yes this is fine to do. I do it all the time. I have a Foodsaver vacuum packer and when meat is on sale I buy a bunch. I them put the meat in a Foodsaver bag along with the marinade. I then vacuum an freeze it. When I pull it out to thaw, the meat marinades. It works out great!

    I do that too Geebs, works great. Kind of like a "self marinating" piece of meat.
