make your opinion known about the war

For anyone who wants to voice an opinon about the war, here is a way to do it. The White House has requested that people make their opinions about the war known by calling 202-456-1111 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (eastern time). If the line is busy, try again. It shouldn't take much time. The operator will ask whether you "oppose" or "approve of" the war. Do it
soon -- some estimates of the vote on the war resolution suggest that it may occur as early as the end of this week.

I'll paraphrase Robert Heinlein here as I don't have the exact quote handy.

Those who say violence never solved anything know nothing about history. Naked violence has settled more issues throughout history than anything else"

I don't say this to say violence is the first option. Rather it is the last hope. Sadam has shown his complete disregard for his own word and honor as well the opinions and efforts of the UN. There is no other recourse.

I say Yes.
