We got in to the kitchen this morning and everything was fine until we opened the walk-in. Ugh, it was warm, and we had to toss all the dairy (we're a frozen yogurt shop). The funny thing is that it was 'fine' last night when we left. The repair guy came and it turns out that we needed some refrigerant. That's cool, but I wish I could have known last night when the problem happened. Isn't there something that can send me a text during the night if something happens?

    Thanks in advance,

    Dan

There are lots of options. Search for 'remote temperature monitoring'.

there are temperature monitors that could be tied into security systems, something if you have a security service.

I am huge on stand alone thermometers (oven and reefer as well as freezer) as they are cheap and easy to read and quite possibly woulda cued you in re falling temps.
...or maybe not...some things just ... happen.
