You sir, are a thoughtful, loyal partner (in the union known as marriage) and your Mrs is certainly lucky that she found the other perfect hubbie (the other one is mine, lol).

You ask about a Masters class...I take this to mean she has a bit of formal culinary education on her CV. Is this correct?

What exactly does she want to study?

The term pastry can mean different things to different people.

Maybe she wants to master the art of all things French or maybe not.

Sorry you missed the class you wanted, but keep this in mind...sometimes those seminars can be fully booked with amateurs (nothing wrong with this, none of us were born with a whisk in their hand, lol) that think a career in this field will be "fun" and can end up driving the bus.

They have so many questions and need so much one on one help that the experienced attendees get lost in the shuffle.

A great solution (if you have the coin) is to book a class taught by her fave pro, taught at their main studio.

Google the pros she most wants to study under.

Most (if not all) offer lessons (small classes) so the love of your life will get lots of one on one time.

Not cheap as most times this will entail air fare, hotels and meals (not to mention the tuition and any must have tools).

Think of it as a once in a lifetime experience (Bucket List type thing).

Good luck and let us know how things go.
