Hey guys, this is my first post! I recently came across this post on another site, saying that carrots can be a good substitute for sugar.

So my question is, do any of you have experience doing that? What were you able to make? I want to try some things, but it's a very weird idea to me!

Can't believe nobody commented on this.

Next time you make marinara or red sauce, take some cleaned carrots, sliced cross section, place in water bath and microwave till soft. Puree in blender and add to your sauce.

Carrot will add sweetness plus carrot taste. Old pizza guy taught me this.

Your link isn't working, ( for me anyway) but interesting topic. I look forward to watching how the thread develops
