Coffe, Kahlua, chocolate - it doesn't get much better! Killer Brownies Preheat oven to 350. Butter either a 7 x 9 pan or 9 x 13, depending on how thick you want the brownies (or how far you want to stretch them!) The 9 x 13 will take a little less time to cook. Mix together and set aside: 1/3 cup hot espresso 2T. Kahlua 1/4 cup hot fudge topping (I like Hershey's for this) Sift together: 1 scant cup flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup Dark cocoa Beat together in mixer on med/low speed: 3/4 cup melted cooled butter 3/4 cup white sugar 3/4 cup dark brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla Add and mix well: 3 eggs Then add the coffee/kahlua/fudge topping mixture By hand, blend in the dry ingredients well. Pour into pan, and bake for 30-40 minutes. Since I live in a 'divided nut' family, I sprinkle chopped toasted walnuts or pecans over the top of half the pan, and leave the other half plain.
