Job opportunity working with union.

    I was going to post a long description of my situation but it boils down to: 

    I am not familiar with food service in a union shop but an opportunity has come up for a promotion to one in a campus food service setting. 

    All things being equal, union shop or not?

    Thanks in advance for any opinions.
