Welcome to Chef Talk!

You ever type in rediculous posts and then delete and do it over and over again?
Kinda jr high but I do it a lot when I am bored or tired......
Guess I musta hit send instead of delete lol.

Seared duck breast over squash rings (acorn?) with a pan reduction of some kind.

*Still welcome to CT.
At times we can be a rowdy bunch but no harm intended.

Before my PM box gets crowded no was not spanked by a mod....
I often police my own posts and render justice if I think I need it .

My first thought was pineapple too. You can kind of see the grain. But it looks like they threw away most of the fruit when it was cored. That's why I guessed squash. But I think pineapple would taste better with the grilled meat.

Just to be different, I think it's a portabello mushroom with caramelized yellow squash rings

I was able to restrain myself and not immediately respond with "George" or "Martha" like I often do in name this xxxx.

I've never cooked or eaten foi gras, so I don't really know what it looks like.
