Is there any way to clean up or archive older threads?

I can imagine this question has been asked before, but, I will take that chance. :)

In perusing through the various topics, I often encounter a thread that is interesting and when I go to make a comment, I realize the thread is quite old and has been inactive for quite awhile. I'm not talking about a few weeks old. I mean at least several months to a year or more and the thread has gone stale.

Is there some way these older, dormant threads can be automatically filtered out to an archive once they have been inactive for a certain period of time?

    Just curious.

    Thanks. :)

For what? So a new discussion on the same old topic can begin again? o_O

Sure.....why not? I'm willing to bet there are plenty of active users in this forum who refrain from offering quality responses precisely because the thread is so old.

It might also help with the problem of people accidentally resurrecting ancient threads.
