Is my cooking pot still safe to use?

    I have a stainless steel pot, copper encased by stainless steel bottom, which has thrown a bubble underneath. It looks like a pin hole and the bottom has bubbled around the hole. Is it still safe to use?

    I'd email the manufacturer with pics and ask them. There's a chance they'd send you a new one, or you'd at least get an answer from someone that could take some liability if something happened.

    Thank you, can't seem to find the manufacturer as the pot was part of my daughters 'glory box' and came out of storage a year ago. No one can remember how long ago this set was bought but it was before she turned 18, she is now 30. I think I might use it as an overpot for kitchen herbs.

    Melting point of aluminum is 1220 degrees F (660C). -If you're concerned about those videos showing melted aluminum on kitchen floors.

    I have a copper disk bottomed pan that has bulges. I've noticed one flatten out on it's own (on a gas burner even). I don't fret them.
