Title says it all
Of course. Apprentices need to be taken seriously and not relegated to making fruit plates for their first 2 years like in some hotels. An apprentice represents the next generation of our profession........take them seriously and teach them well or we lose everything.
Every single person in a kitchen is important. No one person is more important than another, they just have different duties that need to be performed. It takes all members of the team accomplishing their goals in order for the kitchen to be successful.
The position can be important.
Up to the person if they are important too.
