Call me masochist, but I do. AND I haven't done the real thing. Not the REAL kitchen. Yes I did my dishes (didn't want the high ups to think I didn't spend time with the plastic apron) in multi-catering huge kitchens and I was a sausage queen for a while.... And now, I have a wonderful six acres of bliss that I can plant with a small cottage (will build large house in 5 years) and I actually miss the crazzy hub-ub of the industrial kitchen! Call me sick, its a disease! I want to be there, cutting and chopping and swearing and telling people what to do.... :lips:

Having gotten away from the huge kitchens somewhat as a semi-retired (for now) caterer and kitchen consultant, I do have to admit that there was something satisfying in the hectic atmosphere therein. I remember the Friday nights with lines of people waiting for a table, etc., etc. :D
