So if you're tired of Kale and Quinoa yoga mama blogs you can check it out in my signature.  It's pretty raw and without reservations.

@kuan, the link in your signature leads to a page that states: "Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist."

To fix the link, make sure it does not contain any space or dots at the ends? The current link is http://unapologeticcook.blogspot.com/ . where %20 is an encoded "space" character.

    Hope that helps.

A great start!  That skin looks enticing.  There's nothing in your profile though do something about that!

I have 2 friends who have food blogs but I dare say I'm probably a better cook than both in many ways.  I devote a facebook album to my dishes and I'm always getting remarks to start a blog of my own but I've not yet settled into doing something like that.  It seems like a big undertaking what with being a mommy and running my own business AND putting a meal on at the end of the day.  I will however be featured in my friend's blog in a few weeks, she's going to be interviewing me and cooking with me and will run a story.  If it's good and there are no unflattering pictures I will share here.

    Good for you kuan!

Don't know about the rest of you but it is amazing to me. ChefTalk started way back in 1999 and there were honestly less than probably 100 cooking sites. Mostly communities etc. Wordpress, blogs etc had not been created. In fact ChefTalk started "Blogging" before it was even a word. Way, way way back in the day Logan Worley kept an online journal (blog) of his time at culinary school. It was called:

It was pretty popular especially for career changers.

Now fast forward 13+ years and there are millions upon millions of cooking blogs. Some folks have even turned them into an incredible lively hood. I am thankful ChefTalk is still around a midst all the food blogs and sites. Great to see people sharing their blogs.

... And along that thought... Did anyone see the national news feed last night about FOAP? WOW! My hubby signed me up straight away, he thinks that my photos are terrific and I SHOULD be making money for what I do. ;)

http://itsallabouttohappen.blogspot.com/ is mine. Mostly focused on Chinese food, but I branch out occasionally. It's an attempt to make a little money so there are ads on it.

I'd love to get the intro to this to play when you visit the site, but to me the name is an oblique reference to having your mise en place ready and to get cooking.
