Well I went for my interview and he hired me on the spot. We talked about what my role will be and what I am responsible for, where we get our supplies, all of that. I was surprised to learn that it is one of the top 100 restaurants in Canada as I thought it to be a local little place. Anyway here is where I am going.. http://www.harbourdiner.com/ I start training this week part time and in two weeks I will be there full time as their new Kitchen Manager. It is alot like the cafe in its size.. maybe it has 30 seats tops, but the prices are good and everything is made on site from scratch. The kitchen is very small but there is a big prep area downstairs so I see lots of running up and down stairs in my future. I'm excited and nervous at the same time! I know I can do this, I have learned alot here and on the job so now it's my time. It's going to be hard to quit my current job though.. as much as I know I need to go I really like everyone (well mostly everyone) there alot but I need to do this for me.
