hey everybody. i was a lurker here for awhile now, but after reading (and learning and enjoying) countless posts by BDL i thought i'd make a profile i share the very little i know about cooking. i worked at a japanese restaurant, from dishwasher to salads to line to grill (everything but serving and sushi), and have always been interested in food. i read a lot, so i'll probably just share book reviews for the most part. also, lived and traveled across the continental u.s. and lived in both south korea and japan for extended periods of time. yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
