Hello from Dallas, TX. I have never been much of a cook, but I have been learning a lot from my wife. On monday, I baked an awesome dark chocolate cake that turned out pretty awesome. I came here because I have a question about the icing. It calls for heavy whipping cream and the icing is not cooked. I am curious if the cake needs to be refrigerated to keep the icing from spoiling since it has heavy cream or will it be okay sitting out, covered, for a few days at room temp?
