I have been searching for a long time for a part time job in a patisserie or a pastry section in a restaurant. I really just want to find a good job that will give me experience of working in a professional kitchen. However, because I am still in college and I can only do part time, so people do not want to hire me. What I would like to know is how can I get a part time job as a pastry chef? Money for me is not an issue as I still live at home so I am thinking of just asking if I can work for free as I really want to learn more about pastry! What should I do?
