What is the best way to bake chicken? Whole or in part?
It depends on what you want to serve. I roast whole chicken and/or parts all the time. There is no one best way. I prefer to use the term "roast" when referring to whole chicken or parts. I use the term "bake" if the chicken is stuffed or wrapped in something.
Thank you very much!
IMO there's something very special about roasting a whole chicken that you lose the instant you start breaking down a chicken. I'm not saying I never break down a chicken - I often do - but usually not for roasting.
There are no rules though, as KK said, other than experimenting and deciding what you prefer yourself.
You mean roast chicken . Make sure bird is dry, season inside the cavity place on an upside down pie plate in a roasting pan so it does not sit in juices and grease and they run off. cook till internal temp just barely hits 162-65 take out lt rest before carving. Enjoy
