How big to make tortilla/ wraps??

    I created a new type of sandwich wrap and am trying to do some research on the most commonly used size in restaurants.  I see places like Cheny Brothers & restaurant depot sell tortillas in all sizes from 6, 8, 10, 12 inches.  I thought of going with a 9 inch or 8.5 inch wrap.  Would 9 inches give the chef enough material to make sandwiches, burritos and other creations?  I see 6 inch tortillas but have no clue as to what use they have (they seem small to me for a sandwich or burrito)??

    Thanks for your valuable input.  If you could share with me what your restaurant does with wraps/tortillas and the size you use most often it would be a great help. /img/vbsmilies/smilies/thumb.gif

    Are you making this for yourself to eat at home, or is this for a restaurant?

    You are asking if a 9" tortilla is big enough for the chef to make things with...If this is for a restaurant, the "chef" should be capable of figuring out what size of tortilla to buy.

    Why would a restaurant want to buy a sandwich wrap from you to resell?
    Do you have a market for these?
    Where would you be making your wraps?
