Hi all, I am finally a proud owner of my first set of De buyer iron mineral pans and I cannot wait to use them. But, I will need to season them first. The instructions that came with the pans mentions heating a volume of vegetable oil and getting the temperature to very hot and later rubbing all the oil in. Is this the best way? I have heard some people use potato peel and boil them in the pan. I just don't want to stuff anything up. Suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!
