Hello, My name is jasmine I am 17 years old and in high school. When I graduate im going to culinary school to be a pastry chef. I plan on finding a job after my culinary training. I have contemplated opening a small business on the side for years. I wanted it to be a home based business to save money. I am aware that I may need a commerical kitchen. I am also aware that I need to be inspected and liscenced and im willing to go through this process. my question is it legal to opperate a home catering business or bakery in chicago, illinois and how much will getting started cost if I want to install a commerical kitchen within my own home. Also if you have any advise as to what I should do it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
