    Hi All,

I must apologize to you all cause i joined the site a week back but did not as yet come out and say Hi...

I am a Chef and a Food Consultant based out of Bangalore India, who works for companies and freestanding enterprises revamping their F&B operations ( service and production) .. Its a huge task, I agree but its something I am passionate about and Ive realized that I am good at.

( I have worked primarily as a Chef when I started my career ( all major Hotel chains in India ( Taj, WelcomeGroup, Le Meridian, TGIF part of the startup team, etc), then went to the UK (the Hotel Windermer) and the US (Sheraton Sandkeys Florida), got my MBA in Int Business Mgmt 4m Florida.

Well thats to tell you a bit abt me.

    Rgds

    Hello and welcome to ChefTalk!

We have members from around the globe - another from India will be very welcome.  I love Indian food - although in the UK (as you know), most of the Indian restaurants are cheffed by Bangladeshis!  However, we have an absolutely amazing chef in Edinburgh called Tony Singh - his 2 restaurants are amazing - Oloroso being my favourite!     http://www.oloroso.co.uk/

In London, I like to visit Benares, Atul Kochhar's restaurant - his food is amazing!    http://www.benaresrestaurant.com/atul-kochhar.asp

Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting, or start your own topic in the relevant forum on the site.  The wikis, blogs, articles and photography on the site are all very worth while viewing, with some great inspiration to be gained, too!

His food is wonderful - a real fusion between Indian cuisines and modern European - all presented so beautifully and so very, very tasty.

Tony Singh is an amazing man, Scottish of Indian ancestry - he worked as a chef on the RY Britannia before it was decommissioned - his menus are amazing and if you are ever in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend you try Oloroso.  He cooks wonderful local food, always in season and with a twist.
