    Hey everybody. I'm Angie from California and I'm a picky eater.

    I'm 20, and am concerned about the long-term effects that my extremely selective diet will have on my health.

    My poor eating habits also take a toll on both my social and personal lives.

    Despite how little I do eat, I love to cook, and I love the smells of foods.

    Hopefully by learning to cook and incorporate new ingredients into my diet, I will become more comfortable with food.

    I'm really excited to take a look around the forum and start my food journey.

    I have a feeling this community will be really resourceful to me... Look forward to getting acquainted with you all!

    It must be hard to overcome eating problems - often, it is the act of cooking and tasting that is a first step.

    Our membership is broad, from around the globe and all levels of culinary ability. The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photographs are all well worth spending time to view and can be a source of inspiration to new cooks.  The professional fora are read-only for those of us who are not presently employed in a culinary trade.  However, feel free to join in on threads on the other fora here, or start your own in the relevant forum.
