Hi All....I recently Made my Grandmothers homemade Chili recipe, and well I changed a couple things, anyhows it was pretty good except it turned out WAY to Spicy....I was wondering if there is a way to make it LESS spicy? somehow to tame it down a bit!! Would appreciate anyones thoughts about this!! Thanks, M

Ah yes. Been there, done that. The best thing to do is . . . sigh . . . make another batch without any spice, and mix the two.

Then again, if it doesn't already have beans in it, adding beans will help some . . . but maybe not enough. And if it DOES have beans, see the first paragraph.

Adding sugar or vinegar won't help enough, if it's really, really hot. And don't believe the nonsense about adding potatoes. All that will do is . . . add potatoes. :p

BTW: what did you change in the recipe?
