Help on some wine translations

At the end of September I will be trying to get my Wine teaching cerificate from the A.I.W.F

I have been studying wine terms from around the world to try to find a common ground that the wine world uses for specific styles of wines.

I mean like,
Heavy,
Sweet,
Masculine,
Femine.
Also words to describe a harsh wine, or off wine ETC.

I think I have done really well in my reseach, but I was givin some terms in Greek that I am having trouble finding in my books.

They are.
"meles" "leukos" "thermos""malakoi" "glukeis""pacheis" "xeroi"
Now, by just looking at Xeroi, I would think this means "dry" and "thermos" high in alcahol?

Does anyone have a book or resourse they can recomend to me?

Brad,

You know more about wine than any of these knucklehead certificants. Why lower yourself to their fabricated standards? Wine is for the exploration an enjoyment!!!
