I took over a grill and the inside door of the 2 fryers and filter machine are caked in grease. I mean big time! I was able to boil out the fryers but the amount of grease inside the doors is incredible! I can scrape but its so bad that scraping isn't taking it off. What can I use to get years of grime to come off? The filter machine is the same way. Just caked on everywhere and a scraper can't get to all of it. It's a huge sticky mess and nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions?

Get a wallpaper scraper. Or a hammer and chisel. Or one of the large handled grill scrapers with replaceable blades. If you can find a large enough container. leave the filter machine (not the electric part) in the container filled with hot water and fryer cleaner overnight. Oven cleaner will also work on both. Several applications may be needed. A professional steamer may help. They have them for rent or you can buy one and have it on hand for about $750. Keep working at it.

Make a slurry with baking soda, Apply it to old grease and let sit 15 minutes. Use steel scrubbie and flush with water.
