I am avid home baker. My interests include the science of baking and food history. I'm largely self-taught, but I regularly take classes and workshops as I believe there is no end to this journey. I've taken culinary history classes in US and Italy. I enjoy recreating recipes that reflect the history of our holidays and traditions. I believe food is living history. Food connects us to our past, and shapes our cultural identity. Food is how we connect to family and community.
