My name is Al. My first job, at 15, was in a restaurant and I've been working in restaurants, in one form or another, since that day. Although I've had head chef and chef de cusine stiched on my jacket, when people ask me what I do, I simply respond "I'm a cook". And I'm proud of that. I've owned my own restaurant since June 1999, can't say I've loved every minute but would'nt trade it for anything. Well, maybe a couple things.
