Hello from the Wild Wastelands of Yorkshire

    Hi all,And Lo, a voice in the desert was heard calling.....Well - we don't have deserts in Yorkshire - but I wonder if I am the first Yorkshire member of Chef Talk? I LOVE this site!!We've just moved here and are hoping to enlarge the house at the back. Once done we are planning to start a pop-up dining club - so I shall soon be pestering you experts out there with questions like "which is the best make of sous-vide cooker?" followed shortly by "does anyone know how to turn the *$%*ing thing on????"Really glad to be part of the community here. Sorry about the username by the way! It's what I do. I tried to joinh with "Yorkshire Pudding" but it's got too many letters. Big hugs,WD

    I agree with you, sometimes I am just amazed, some the photos in the Galleries as well as to how willing people here are to share in everything food.  But that’s what it’s all about, right? 

    I take great pride in feeding my family and friends, and CT has helped me to do it better, smarter and more effectively.

    I want to let you know that us folks who are not employed in the Food Industries are asked to read only in the three Pro forays, so I hope that you will post up in the General Forums too.

    Once you’ve gone over the FAQ, Tutorials and Community Guidelines, if you still have any questions, you can post those in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.

    The Search bar at the top of the page is very useful in finding topics of interest that have been discussed many times, I mean CT as been around for more than 10 years.
