I wondered onto this site from a search engine, very glad to have found this place. Spec Ops is not meant in the traditional military fashion, the first three Chefs I worked for liked my enthusiasm and sent me on missions to use new products and work out details they didn't have time for, they had a lot of other responsibilities. The nickname stuck and here I am. Been in the business from age 15 [fulltime from 18] and probably couldn't do anything else if I wanted. Just moved to the Black Hills from wine country, Paso Robles.
