I would like to extend warm wishes to all the chefs out there and novices as well.

I am a foodie and have been in the kitchen since the age of 2 on both sides of the family.  So I have been fortunate enough to learn a little of Italian and Bulgarian/Macedonian style of food - and of course American comfort food.

I am always looking to learn and I know I will gather numerous tips from the professionals on Chef Talk.

Welcome, Javida! It looks like you've had good cooks to learn from as you grew up. Are there favorite dishes, perhaps ones that bring home back to you?
