Hi...I just found Chef Talk and am looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully learn a lot. I've been cooking ever since I could reach the stove. I live in the southern US and cooking is a tradition passed down from generation to generation. I've taken a lot of what I learned early on and adapted it as I've grown to make it healthier. Some things you just don't mess with however, like breads, desserts and real southern fried chicken. I may not eat them anymore, but I still enjoy making them for family and friends. I'm always looking for new recipes and the correct techniques to use to perfect what I do so any advice is welcome.
