Hello, and any idea's..?

Hi there, Im Martin in the UK and I just wanted to introduce myself to site members. I have always wanted to become a pro chef / cook, and I have been asked to attend an interview for a trainee chef at quite a prestegious
local hotel, i have to make a dish pror to the interview for under £5, (about $8-9), and in under 40 mins.
I have my own ideas but does anyone have any good suggestions...?
