    Hello, I am 24 and working to get my Associate degree in Baking and Pastry arts by 2016 from Anne Arundle Community College in Maryland. I lived in Budapest Hungary for 2 years while earning a BA in Political Science and International Relations.  My favorite things to bake are breads and European pastries and tortes. I have been baking on my own since I was 10 and love to try new recipes and experimenting in the kitchen. 

    I am happy to join this group to have some great people who care about food as much as I do to talk to.

    Howdy HFrink, welcome to our little corner of the internet.
    Tis that time of year, any chance you make povitica? My wife has to have a couple every time the holidays roll around. Her grandparents came to the U.S. from Yugoslavia and so it always brings back fond memories for her. She well remembers her mother spending hours making povitica every year during the holiday season. Labor intensive, but oh so good!
