Hi all, I too happened to this forum by googling. Mine was something to the affect of “the top ten food discussion forums” and it led me here. I have loved to cook for others and myself for quite some time. I’m not a professional chef by any means, (athough I too have a dish or two I’m somewhat pleased with). In choosing a user name, I opted for Chef N. Nod ‘cause to me it sounded like Chef I’m not as well as a slight play on words regarding a cooking term. I thought it was somewhat better then Chuck Roast, which immediately got sent back, as it were, as well as Al Dente and a few others. I’m looking forward to reading all the food related threads I can, without contributing much in the technical aspect of those areas for now, except possibly for personal taste-type replies. I may however post in the Late night café etc. for now if that’s OK.
