Green Peppercorns - Dried versus brined versus oiled, and 'best' sources for

    Greetings -

    I have read that green peppercorns come freeze-dried, packed in brine, or packed in oil.  I have read opinions that one should never use the freeze-dried, and the 'best' are those packed in oil (French made; I have found no source for these so far.)  I would appreciate a consensus opinion on those with the best flavor, and sources to purchase them.  Thanks.

    I am not familiar with green peppercorns in oil. For most applications, I prefer brined ones to dried ones and for brands, I would say Roland.
