Graduates who want to sue their school.....

In yesterdays newspaper I just read an article about a college for lawyers that is being sued by some of its' graduates because the school led them to believe that they would get a high paying job right out of school.

Sound familiar?

Poor little lawyer newbies.................can't get that $125,000 a year job after graduation.

CIA graduates who come out of school thinking they are going to be the next Thomas Keller, only to find that they are scrubbing toilets and peeling potatoes for 2 years for peanuts.

I feel the pain............NOT!!!

I don't see this as a negative on the school or the lawyers they graduated. Some lawyer was sitting around his office thinking " who can I sue" Bingo sue the law school. With the major slump in the economy ( depression)  lawyers have to be creative..I am sure the school couldn't be prouder

I think the school's admin have the same feeling that a father gets when he sits with his kid for countless hours in the family car until the kid gets his/her driver's license, and then promptly crashes the family car a week later....

haha, personally I've always laughed at the kids who think they are going to go to culinary school and become a chef right away. I don't know how many of them I have seen actually get into a real kitchen and breakdown or all but breakdown and never return. It can be quiet funny when they are walking around like a hotshot but can't work a line to save their life. I wish I could go to culinary school but don't feel that people with little kitchen experience should jump in unless they are just doing out of curiosity to improve their own cooking.

My first real chef didn't attend culinary school and took me under his wing saying the only real difference between a culinary school graduate and someone who loves the business, is good at it, and works hard is the culinary graduate will know the french terms. Don't get me wrong, I wish could have gone to culinary school, but if your a good honest hard working quick learner its a waste of money.
