i'm a novice cook and fell in love with a cold salad i tried at a small local grocer months ago... it was lentils, (baked?) yam, and goat cheese, with some peppery arugula in there too. it had a nice kick to it, but was relatively mild in the spice arena. i'm a novice cook so i'm looking for suggestions anyone might have on how to re-create the cold salad -- or, frankly, any other recipes that might nicely incorporate some or all of these ingredients. thoughts?
