Freezing macarons

    Does macarons taste alright once thawed?   I ordered macarons online and I'm sure with this Wisconsin weather they will come frozen.

    They freeze great. I've frozen both the shells alone and assembled ones with no ill effects. A lot of bakeries freeze them for production purposes anyway.

    I've even read that the flavor improves after they sit in the freezer for a bit. I dunno if that is true, but most people seem to think the flavor and texture is better the day after you bake them. Freezing them shouldn't be a problem.
