Freezing Falafel Mix

    I have extra falafel mix that's leftover from an event.  Will it freeze?  I'm concerned that freezing it will produce excess moisture, especially considering the ground onions in the mix...

    Anybody have experience with this?

    I've frozen pre-portioned balls before and they held up just fine. Granted it was only for 1 week, but they tasted just fine and were just as crunchy out of the fryer.

    One thing I'd suggest is that you give it time to "naturally" thaw out as opposed to running it under water.
