This was really excellent. It was fun to hear the story of EV coming over to his house. Thanks for sharing.

And I thought I was the only one still rocking to Zappa. It's kinda sad so many just remember him for his lyrics but he was a stellar guitar player. Gotta love the fish eye lens bending the guitar necks and the smoking cigg in Zappas tuning machines.
Now I'm gonna have dynamo hum in my head the rest of the day.

Oh you know that dvd has my name all over it! My holiday present to myself!
I saw that tour (yeah, big surprise) it was great of course.
I liked that Steve Howe vid too. I have some solo Steve Howe on dvd as well as a lot of that older Vai stuff. In fact I just lent my Vai plays Zappa cd. The one that basically compiles Steve's FZ solos.

I am planning on quitting the band I'm playing in currently to return to my summer band thang. I'm working on the set list now. I'll post it when I'm done. All guitar driven of course.
Now I shouldn't post this because it's full of mistakes and bad playing, but what the ****. If Steve can play along with FZ than I can play along with Steve (sort of!)
