There are some great vege carving books in library in particular some books on Sushi Garnish
The Asian culture is spectacular at carving fruits and veg. (just google food art and you will find this piece of work)

Definitely. It is very common practice in Chinese, Japanese, The Moorish Tribes during the 700s and 800s, bringing Marzipan almond paste to Sicilia and Toledo, Spain.

google ray villafane and you will find anything you ever want to know about the artist...he lives somewhere in arizona.maybe snotsdale......check out his sand sculptures as well....amazing....
