    How should fondant taste and feel?

    I ordered a fondant cake for my daughter's birthday and found it to be tasteless, rubbery, and thick.  It seemed old like it was made 2 days before at least.  It's been awhile since I have cut a fondant cake but I don't remember sawing the fondant to get threw.
